All will soon be revealed regarding the latest project from Strategic Hospitality, as Le Sel is set to open for dinner service tomorrow night in Midtown.
Helmed by executive chef Rene De Leon, the 'New French' menu has been a mystery for the most part, but a press release this morning sheds a little light on some of the planned offerings, with classic French dishes such as an olive oil-poached salmon nicoise, duck breast and French onion soup, as well as a raw bar. Brunch includes traditional dishes such as the croque madame, lobster omelet and quiche.
Lunch will be available in the main dining room from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, with dinner service from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Weekend brunch hours will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, with the downstairs bar open until 1 a.m. each night.
Be sure to check back often for more updates and details.
