The Bellevue community now has a much-needed new non-chain coffee option, as Capital Coffee Co. opened their doors late last week.
Owned and operated by Crumb de la Crumb bakery owners Lorie and Jason Burcham and situated right next door, a rep tells Eater that the roughly 1,000-square-foot coffee shop is offering a variety of caffeinated beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, cortados, Cuban coffee and cold brews, along with sweeter options like affogato, a coffee-based dessert, hot chocolate and caramel apple cider.
Pastries and cupcakes are being supplied by the next door bakery, but Capital Coffee also has its own small food menu, offering a fruit parfait and German pancake all day long, with some heartier lunch options available between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The coffee shop is open seven days a week, with hours of 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.
