Absinthe Bar 'The Green Hour' Opens Tonight in Germantown

Here's a first look at the opening night cocktail list.

Tempered Cafe & Chocolate

After giving Tempered Cafe and Chocolate (formerly Tempered European Indulgence) a quick facelift and hosting a couple of pre-opening trial runs for friends and family, absinthe bar 'The Green Hour' is ready to open tonight in Germantown.

The new weekend pop-up from Tempered and 312 Pizza Company owners Staci and Dan Bockman gives the neighborhood its first dedicated cocktail bar, with longtime Nashville barman Jeremiah Blake running the show. And while featured drinks will change frequently, Eater has a first look at the opening night cocktail list:

Absinthe Suissesse - Egg White/Absinthe/Cream/Creme de Menthe/Orgeat/Nutmeg

Blake tells Eater that cocktails will be between $10 and $12 each, with all absinthes clocking in at $15 and accompanied by a chocolate truffle from Tempered. Planned hours will be 8 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. So check it out, and let us know your first impressions.
