East Nashville's Bar Luca Opens Nov. 28

Bar Luca, the small neighborhood wine and cocktail bar spearheaded by co-owner and East Nashville resident Abi Hewitt, has set Saturday, Nov. 28 as their official opening date. Hewitt tells Eater that they plan to open at 1 p.m. in conjunction with the 'Gallatin Galavant,' a small business shop crawl through the east side's main retail corridor.

Intending for Bar Luca to stand as a community-oriented and collaborative project, Hewitt is quick to point out the contributions of her assembled team, including beverage director Robin Riddell Jones, chef Molly Fitzpatrick Martin, and GM Patrick Kearney.

Expect a regularly changing wine list along with cocktails and beer, as well as a menu of small plates, charcuterie boards and cheeses. Initial opening hours will be 4 p.m. to midnight Tuesday through Sunday.
