Edley's Bar-B-Que Is Expanding to Lexington, Kentucky

So it looks like Shake Shack isn't the only one getting in on the fun in Lexington, Ky., as Edley's Bar-B-Que is planning their first out-of-state expansion to the Bluegrass State. Included in those same online marketing materials for The Summit at Fritz Farm is a small but clear rendering of an Edley's storefront, which appears to be slated for a prime corner spot in the retail portion of the mixed use development.

Co-owner Will Newman confirmed with Eater via email that this is indeed in the pipeline, with an expected opening this time next year. They're also currently working on opening a third Nashville location in the Sylvan Park neighborhood.
