East Nashville wine and cocktail haven Bar Luca opens their doors today at 1 p.m., and Eater has your first look at the opening food and beverage menus.
Chef Molly Fitzpatrick Martin of The Food Company in Green Hills has put together a concise opening menu of small bites, including charcuterie, cheeses and accompaniments, along with bar snacks like rosemary beet hummus, tartines and a trio of macarons (not shown). Co-owner Abi Hewitt says that the plan will be to further expand the menu in January.
But the main event is the beverage program, put together by well-known local wine consultant Robin Riddell Jones. The wine list, which leans heavily French and Italian, offers up nearly 20 by the glass, with 8 selections on tap. Bottles range from $30 to $170, spanning a wide range of varities.
There is also a thoughtful beer selection, featuring 8 on tap, and a list of classic cocktails, all moderately priced between $8 and $10.
So check out the full menus below, and be sure to send any first impressions to the tipline.
