UPDATED (1/4/16): After several soft openings over the holidays, Five Daughters Bakery will open (and stay open) beginning Saturday, Jan. 16. According to a social media post earlier today, they'll kick off their grand opening at 9 a.m.

Five Daughters Bakery is still putting the finishing touches on their 12 South location, but they're ready to let hungry guests kick the tires in advance of their grand opening, as they have just announced a 'soft opening,' this Friday only, starting at 7 a.m.

A representative for the bakery tells Eater that they plan to stay open until they are sold out, something that has become a common occurrence at their recently opened location at The Factory in Franklin. On tap will be a variety of pastries, including their in-demand '100 Layer Donuts.'

As for a permanent opening, Eater is told that they will be closed the week of Christmas, opening back up for a few days the week after, with a grand opening possible for around the New Year.
