WILSON COUNTY - Plans for Wilson County's first alcohol distillery are underway, as The Tennessean reports that Jug Creek Distillery will operate as a small batch craft distillery offering moonshine, whiskey and bourbon. Production is set to begin next summer with a target opening of spring 2017. [The Tennessean]

FRANKLIN - The previously announced upscale gastropub coming to Franklin's Westhaven community officially has a name—Haven & Ale. A. Marshall Family Foods Inc. is targeting an opening sometime in the first half of 2016. [EaterWire]

EAST NASHVILLE - Local food truck Riddim N Spice will be doing a late night takeover of The Treehouse restaurant tonight, starting at 10 p.m. Menu items will include Riddim N Spice's Caribbean-inspired dishes such as chow mein with coconut curry and vegetables and slow roasted goat with Jamaican sweet potato.
