'Nashville' Star Opening Franklin Restaurant; Butcher & Bee to Welcome Portland's Jenn Louis

FRANKLIN - Jonathan Jackson of ABC's Nashville is partnering with fellow actor and General Hospital alum Steve Burton to open Jack and Jameson's Smokehouse in Franklin. The restaurant, which will also serve as a live music venue naturally, will serve barbecue, burgers and melts, along with a selection of local brews. [Nashville Business Journal]

EAST NASHVILLE - On January 18, recently opened Butcher & Bee will host guest chefs Tandy Wilson of City House and Jenn Louis of Portland's Lincoln Restaurant as they prepare a family-style dinner alongside Butcher & Bee chef Bryan Lee Weaver. Tickets are $95 and include dinner and a copy of Louis's cookbook, "Pasta by Hand."
