Today, Arnold's Country Kitchen, one of the city's best known and most loved restaurants, opens up shop in the ground floor of a nondescript apartment building in the city's worst dining neighborhood, providing a much-needed boost to Green Hills' restaurant options.
According to The Tennessean, the James Beard American Classics award winner will throw open their doors this morning at 10:30 a.m. in the Green Hills Apartments for Retired Teachers, serving up all of the favorites from their original Eighth Avenue location. Hours will be the same as well, 10:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The Tennessean also reports that breakfast will be added at this location in March, when the original location closes temporarily for the final phase of their expansion.
