It's been quite a while coming, but Butchertown Hall is finally open. The very soon-to-be Germantown hot spot, located at 1416 4th Avenue North, opened earlier today for brunch, with things moving right on into dinner tonight.
The menus are inspired by owner Terry Raley's time spent in the Texas Hill Country, meaning it's meat heavy, fire is a key element and the Mexican and German influences are evident. The beverage program offers 30 beers on tap, a number of them local brews created specifically for the restaurant. Tequila and mezcal are also prominently featured, as well as a small selection of wine. And the space is airy, open and like nothing else in town.
So if you head there tonight, be sure to report back with the good, the bad and the ugly in either the comments or via the tipline.
