POP's next 'City Meets Nashville' installment is bringing a couple of James Beard award winning chefs up from The Crescent City, as Ryan Prewitt and Stephen Stryjewski, prominent figures in Donald Link's growing restaurant empire, set up shop for one night only on Feb.27.
Prewitt, currently chef and partner at Peche Seafood Grill in New Orleans, won the James Beard award for Best Chef in the South last year, while the restaurant itself won Best New Restaurant. Chef Stryjewski is co-owner of Cochon, Cochon Butcher (which is headed to Germantown later this year) and Peche, winning his own James Beard award back in 2011 as chef at Cochon.
Seatings are available at 6 and 8:30 7 p.m. for the five-course meal, with tickets running $75 per person. [UPDATE: $75 is the early purchase price through this Friday. After that, tickets will go up to $100.]
