Today's the day as Bajo Sexto, the little taqueria from Jonathan Waxman and company, opens in The Country Music Hall of Fame. Located at 216 5th Avenue South, head chef Kaelin Ulrich Trilling will be executing a menu of traditional Mexican staples, including a variety of tacos, flautas, soups, salsas and guacamole. The bar program includes beer and wine on tap, along with a large selection of tequilas.

The space itself consists of a 75-seat dining room, with 12 seats at the bar and room for approximately 75 additional diners on the patio. Opening hours are planned for 5 p.m. to midnight Tuesday through Sunday, but look for lunch hours and late night service to come in the near future.

And be sure to check back frequently for additional updates and info.
