So you know that Bajo Sexto opens tonight, you've met the chef, but what about the menu? Look no further, as Eater has a first look at the full rundown of offerings from Jonathan Waxman's new Nashville project.
As expected, it's tight, with just over 20 items. Head chef Kaelin Ulrich Trilling's dishes range from queso fundido with handmade chips to short rib tacos and tortas, with everything on the menu priced between $3.50 and $9. A few breakfast items like migas and huevos rancheros are even teased for when hours will be extended earlier and late night in the coming weeks.
At the bar, margaritas on the rocks or frozen are offered by the glass or pitcher, along with some house specialties like frozen bourbon horchata and a 'Sexto pina colada.' Head below for the full menu preview.
