Strategic Hospitality continues to extend its reach, with the announcement today that they will be opening restaurant and bar The Band Box at the Nashville Sounds new home, First Tennessee Park. Situated in the right field concourse area, the 4,000-square-foot outdoor space will offer a variety of food, a full bar and additional entertainment options, including ping pong, cornhole, table hockey and shuffleboard.
According to a release, snack options will include vegetables and hummus, jalapeno fritters with derby sauce, kielbasa pork sausage from Porter Road Butcher and smoked pork nachos with jalapeno "queso" sweet corn and tomato pico de gallo, bbq, and cilantro crema. Vegetarian options will also be available.
On the beverage side, the bar will feature a number of local beers on tap, a selection of liquor and frozen drinks such as a grapefruit and vodka slushie or a frozen Jack and Coke.
The Goldberg brothers' new project joins Pepperfire, the East Nashville hot chicken purveyor, whose role at the new stadium was announced back in January.
