After a neighborhood soft opening this past weekend, cafe, bar and laundromat Madeline officially opened for lunch service earlier today. Located at 1224 Meridian Street in the East Nashville neighborhood of Cleveland Park, the hybrid hangout offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as bar service featuring beer and wine.
The kitchen keeps it simple, with breakfast options such as brioche pain perdu and omelettes ranging in price from $6 to $8. Lunch, which also rolls into dinner, offers a broader range of sandwiches, soups and salads, with prices coming in between $6 and $11. A few dessert options are also available.
On the beverage side, they currently have several high-gravity beers and some of their planned wine offerings, with more to come. A rep for Madeline tells Eater that they hope to be able to start serving low-gravity beer soon.
Hours of operation going forward will be 7 a.m. to midnight Tuesday through Sunday. So check it out, and do report back with any first impressions.
