A long time standby in the Nashville dining scene is looking to make a comeback, as Green Hills Grille has announced plans to reopen in July. The 6,700-square-foot space will be located in the Greenbriar Village Shopping Center at 2002 Richard Jones Road in Green Hills. Currently home to Alegria Mexican Restaurant and Tequila Bar, their last day of service will be this Saturday, April 4, as they prep to move into their new home at 1720 West End Avenue.
Steven Smithing, currently the owner of Mere Bulles in Brentwood and an 11-year veteran of the original Green Hills Grille, will be the Grille's new owner, with his brother Christopher, the executive chef and GM at Mere Bulles, running the kitchen.
According to a release, plans for lunch, dinner, late night menus and weekend brunch will include a number of dishes from the original menu. And so to fan the flames of nostalgia, here is a look through Green Hills Grille's full menu, as it was in 2003.
