Embers wants to be a bar first and foremost, and their extensive beverage selection certainly makes that apparent. Gary Hayward, author of their cocktail program, has a lot to work with, as the bar features a number of vodkas, gins, rums and tequilas, as well as over 140 different whiskeys and whiskys, one of the largest collections in town. They also have 12 beers on tap, as well as a selection of bottles and over 30 different wines, with 12 offered by the glass.
The kitchen menu is varied, featuring 28 different items ranging from seared ahi tuna salad to foie gras toasted pound cake, fish tacos and the "Mt. Everest" cheeseburger. So take a look, and do report back.
