It looks like all will indeed soon be revealed regarding 12 South bar and restaurant Embers Ski Lodge, as reps for the long-delayed project confirm with Eater that an opening is slated for the week of April 13.
And while menu details are still relatively unknown outside of it being small plates with a Pacific Northwest influence, Embers' reps did share a few planned items with Eater. Included are:
- 'Base Camp Sammies' - Grab and go sandwiches which represent their take on Asian street food. Options include their version of Nashville hot chicken, tossed in Korean pepper powder; braised short rib with foie gras; and Mongolian flank steak.
- Reindeer sausage sandwich - Alaskan sausage on a New England-style bun with blueberry mustard, served with 36-hour Belgian fries.
- Alaskan smoked salmon spread - Adler smoked salmon, red onion, caper and jalapeño served with a warm baguette.
An exact date for the opening should come any day now, so check back again soon for more details and announcements.
