While work on Southern Land Company's new $100 million Green Hills mixed-use development 4000 Hillsboro has hit a few delays, talks with potential retail and restaurant tenants continue to move forward, with Eater hearing from several sources that Phoenix-based True Food Kitchen is in talks to take part of the approximately 18,000 square feet of planned retail space.

A representative for Southern Land would not confirm specifics, but a representative for Fox Restaurant Concepts, True Food Kitchen's parent company, tells Eater that they "are looking into opportunities in Hillsboro Pike for 2017." The project's address is 4000 Hillsboro Pike, and a 2017 completion date sounds about right.

True Food Kitchen currently has eleven locations around the country, offering a vegan, vegetarian and gluten free-heavy menu based around the anti-inflammatory diet. Gluten free cocktails, bio-dynamic wines and local beers are also featured. Lunch and dinner are served Monday through Friday, with brunch and dinner on the weekends.
