Fresh Hospitality continues to expand their roster of fast-casual concepts by leaps and bounds, with the Nashville Business Journal reporting today that City House executive chef Tandy Wilson is partnering with them to open a new pizza concept......in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Called Colla Rosso, which apparently translates to "red neck," the pie spot will serve pizza exclusively, a dish that Wilson's City House is well known for. Additionally, the NBJ says that it will be part of a 'dining marketplace' on West Virginia University's campus, which will also include Fresh Hospitality properties Little Donkey and Taziki's.
Fresh Hospitality already has a presence there, having opened an outpost of Martin's Bar-B-Que back in 2013, along with several other Taziki's locations prior to that.
As far as when Colla Rosso might land in Nashville, Wilson is vague, simply stating that "[o]nce we get it right, we’ll be in the Middle Tennessee area[.] At least, that’s my hope."
