Things have been incredibly quiet since word first broke last July that Bartaco, a street food concept from Connecticut-based restaurant group Barteca, had signed a lease for the still under construction 12 South Center development at the corner of 12th Avenue and Montrose. And while there still has not been an official announcement from the company, it's definitely making forward progress, as full plans for the project, updated as recently as the first part of February, have surfaced online.
The Bartaco plans can be found on Story Construction's website, the group slated to do the build-out work. Of most interest is the floor plan, which shows the scope of the restaurant. If things stay as they are shown, it's slated for 169 total seats, including two-tops, four-tops, bench and bar seating. There's also a large outdoor patio that wraps around the corner of the building, and a large seated waiting area. Head here to take a look, and be sure to chime in with any additional intel or details.
