Another local bakery option has landed, as Village Bakery and Provisions opened up earlier today at the Nashville Farmers' Market. Located next to Bella Nashville, it's the first solo project from chef Sam Tucker, a veteran of the local restaurant scene who most recently was the opening sous chef at The 404 Kitchen.

Tucker plans to offer freshly-baked breads and pastries, as well as to-go offerings such as salads and sandwiches. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday 12 to 3 p.m., with plans to extend those times in the near future.
