Welcome to Eater Scenes, where Eater photographers visit some of Nashville's most popular and iconic restaurants to capture them at very specific times of the day. Today, Margot Cafe and Bar, at 6 p.m. on a Friday.

Margot Cafe and Bar is a Nashville institution. Situated at Five Points in East Nashville, chef Margot McCormack and business partner Jay Frein opened the rustic French and Italian-influenced neighborhood restaurant fourteen years ago, and never looked back.

Eater photographer Justin Chesney stopped by to capture the scene at their Friday night anniversary dinner earlier this month.
