And yes, 'The Country' is the actual name.

POST UPDATE: General manager Faith Shealy contacted Eater with a few additional details, including that The Country is under the same ownership as Jed's Sports Bar and Grille. The space is 3,200 square feet, with a 1,200 square foot outdoor patio also in the works. Shealy says that they will feature a wide variety of artists and musical genres, with a maximum capacity of 350 at the venue. It will feature a full bar with a cocktail menu, as well as a kitchen menu of small plates. They are currently shooting for a soft opening toward the beginning of August.

It was no doubt only a matter of time until someone took the music Nashville is most well-known for and named a bar after it. Hence The Country, a new bar and music venue currently under construction in Midtown. Located at 110 28th Avenue North near Centennial Park and next to Jed's Sports Bar and Grille, the new project, according to their website, is slated to open this month, with hiring currently underway.

Eater reached out to representatives for details, but had not heard back at the time of this posting. So while few specifics are known, posts to social media show a large bar and corner stage being constructed, bathroom sinks made out of Jack Daniel's barrels and a 24-tap draft beer system.

So check back for opening details, and be sure to hit the tipline.
