Work at upcoming Cool Springs restaurant The Honeysuckle now appears to be clicking along at a brisk pace, with social media updates from yesterday and over the weekend showing a nearly completed interior. A post from July 20 stated that they were hoping to open about two weeks from that date, but the wait appears as though it will be a little longer.
Located at 1790 Galleria Boulevard, owner Kelly Black originally operated his Pie in the Sky pizza concept out of the space, but announced the switch back in February. Black also owns The Row in Midtown, which was similarly converted from a Pie in the Sky.
There is still not much known about the menu, but they have promised to "bring nutrition to elevated Southern cuisine" and will feature in-house dry aged meats, along with a 24-tap draft beer system that will feature all local brews.
