It looks like there will finally be an Indian option on the east side of town, as East Bollywood Indian Vegetarian restaurant is in the early stages of getting up and running. According to The East Nashvillian, restaurant owner Karin Dicker currently has a contract on the property at 2521 Gallatin Road, next to FooBar, with plans to open sometime in the spring of next year. She also plans to open a separate bar concept there called The Opium Den.
In May, a post on East Bollywood's Facebook page stated that they were still in the process of putting together funding. So follow along there to stay up-to-date, and be sure to check back here for additional info.
