Beloved East Nashville music venue, restaurant and bar The Family Wash is all geared up to open the doors to their new space on August 17. And when they do, one of the most notable differences will be the kitchen menu. So here now, Eater has your first look at what executive chef John Stephenson has in store.

Stephenson, formerly the executive chef at Hillsboro Village's Fido for 12 years, along with chef de cuisine Rachel Tumerman, will be turning out breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Overall the menu offers a number of vegetarian and gluten-free options, with all-day breakfast items like the fried green biscuit sandwich and buckwheat pancakes fitting that bill.

Lunch and dinner definitely leans hard on comfort food, featuring Stephenson's approachable take on dishes such as grilled cheese with tomato soup, chicken pot pie and that long time Family Wash favorite, shepherd's pie. So take a look at the full menu below, and be sure to check back for additional updates.
