What is probably Middle Tennessee's longest running pop-up restaurant is going brick and mortar, as Mangia Nashville is headed for the Melrose area. The Tennessean broke the news earlier this week, detailing that chef Nick Pellegrino's Italian family-style restaurant will be taking 3,300 square feet in the 8th Avenue Commons development at the corner of Craighead Street and Franklin Pike. Pellegrino launched the weekly recurring dinner series back in 2011, using Franklin restaurant Cool Cafe's space on the weekends.
