New York City Somm Tim Rawding IN as Le Sel Wine Director

His work history includes time spent at some big name NYC restaurants.

More personnel news for Strategic Hospitality's Le Sel, as Eater has learned that sommelier Tim Rawding has been tapped as the restaurant's wine director. Rawding appears to have made the move last month, leaving his post as sommelier at two of famed chef Daniel Boulud's New York City restaurants, Boulud Sud and Bar Boulud. Prior to that, he was part of the opening team at Michael White's Costata, as well as having spent over a year and a half as a sommelier and wine educator at Mario Batali's OTTO Enoteca and Pizzeria.

And thus continues the Goldberg brothers' trend of stacking the upcoming 'New French' restaurant and bar with talent from outside Nashville, including the news earlier this month that veteran Chicago chef Enoch Simpson was on board as sous chef.
