UPDATED: Construction Is Moving Along at Bar Sovereign in SoBro

UPDATE: Well it looks like things are a little further along with Bar Sovereign's build-out than previously thought. A social media update from earlier this week shows progress photos of the interior, including a fireplace, a uniquely-constructed wood bar and what appears to be a spiral staircase to nowhere.

Since first being announced back in the middle of April, things have been pretty quiet regarding upcoming Bar Sovereign, a new cocktail and small plates restaurant planned for SoBro. But now a new Facebook page has popped up, showing a logo and a shot of the under construction interior.

The new project from Sean Hinton and Gabe Fuenmayor (formerly of food truck Wrapper's Delight) was originally slated for a June opening, but that's long gone, so be sure to check back for future updates on an official opening date.
