It appears an opening is planned in 2016.

While the news of Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint's expansion to Louisville, Ky. hasn't gone completely under the radar, here locally there has barely even been a whisper about it. But back in May, The Courier-Journal reported that Pat Martin's temple of pork would be opening in "the abandoned Indian Springs golf clubhouse in far eastern Jefferson County." The planned restaurant will include 6,800 square feet of indoor space, along with a 2,800 square foot patio.

Louisville news outlet WDRB reported in early June that an opening could potentially happen in the fall, but Martin's Bar-B-Que's Louisville Facebook page touts a 2016 opening.
