As Nashville's burger boom seems to continue on unabated, there appears to be yet another player on that front, this time headed to East Nashville's Greenwood neighborhood. Boutique Burger Bar, a local "gourmet mini-burger" pop-up and catering company based out of Brentwood and in business since 2010, looks to be headed for the former Fast Stop Auto Repair shop at 914 Gallatin Avenue. While the restaurant's Facebook page does not come straight out with an address, photos on the page show a partial view of the front of the shop, with the address '914' visible.
Eater reached out to restaurant reps for details, but had not heard back at the time of this posting. But to possibly get some idea of what to expect, in an interview from back in 2011, owner Quanye Sparks laid out some of the planned offerings, as well as his intent at that time to open in East Nashville, describing it as "such an up and coming area," with the stated hope of opening up by the end of that summer. So those plans obviously took a little longer than anticipated.
