A few weeks back, The Tennessean broke the news that Chicago craft beer and arcade bar Headquarters Beercade was heading for Nashville. There was heavy speculation that the new project would be in the former downtown home of club and bar Seen Nashville, with Headquarters co-owner and Capacity Bar Group partner Brian Galati revealing details for the project, but declining to confirm the location.
But it's official now, as posts on a newly created Headquarters Beercade Facebook page show that the former bar is indeed the new location of the Chicago import. Located at 114 Second Avenue South, photos posted appear to show that the lease was signed mid-week last week.
Headquarters Beercade currently operates two locations in Chicago, with the group aiming for a December opening in Nashville.
