As The Hook, Sinema executive chef Dale Levitski and company's new fast casual Merlose-area restaurant, moves closer to an opening, a key personnel announcement was made today, as Vasisht Ramasubramanian has been named chef at the new project.
Ramasubramanian, also known as 'Chef V,' moved to Nashville from New York City in the summer of 2014 to take the position of opening chef de cuisine at Chauhan Ale & Masala House, where he has worked up until now. No word as of yet on who will be taking his place.
Today's announcement also provides a little more info on what to expect from The Hook's menu, which will include chicken and seafood dishes, sandwiches, salads and sides. The bar program will feature local brews, batched cocktails and frozen drinks.
And for those that want to be the first to try out a few of The Hook's upcoming menu items, Levitski and Chef V will host a pop up preview at the Nashville Farmers Market this Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until they sell out.
