8TH AVE SOUTHMangia, Franklin's beloved Italian pop-up, is closed in January as they prepare their new in-town location at the corner of Craighead and Franklin Road. The pop-up restaurant, which has been serving New York-style Italian meals two nights a week out of Cool Café in Franklin for the past five years, is targeting an early February opening for their permanent storefront. EAST NASHVILLE - Recently opened Butcher & Bee launched lunch service today, featuring a selection of snacks and vegetable-heavy small plates, as well as an expanded offering of their signature sandwiches. Hours run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. [Eaterwire]

DOWNTOWN - Louisville-based breakfast chain Wild Eggs is expanding to Nashville, adding a location on Union Street downtown. The restaurant is aiming for a March opening and will serve breakfast, lunch and brunch daily. [The Tennessean]
