GERMANTOWN – Some changes in the kitchen at 5th & Taylor, as chef de cuisine Daniel Gorman and pastry chef Rachel De Jong have recently left the project, with a representative for the restaurant citing an “amicable parting of ways.” Chefs Charles Schiller and Tyler Stewart, who have both worked at the restaurant since Spring 2015, are now leading the kitchen team along with executive chef and owner Daniel Lindley, with Devin Gausman overseeing the pastry program. THE GULCH – Fine dining spot Watermark recently named Elliot Cunniff as its new executive chef. Cunniff brings an impressive resume with him, having worked as sous chef at Daniel Boulud’s celebrated New York City destination restaurant Daniel, as well as DB Bistro. After that he moved over to chef and restaurateur David Burke’s group, working in his kitchens for several years. [EaterWire]

WEDGEWOOD-HOUSTON – Several notable moves at Josh Habiger’s We-Ho hotspot Bastion, as chef Tom Bayless and beverage director Chelsey Johnson have both left the restaurant. No word yet on what their plans are, but be sure to check back for updates. [EaterWire]
