Downtown’s The Stillery restaurant and bar has big plans heading into 2017, as they just announced this afternoon via social media the opening of a second location in Midtown.

Located in a standalone building at 1921 Broadway along a high traffic Midtown corridor known for its nightlife, the new 4,900-square-foot outpost is planned for a summer 2017 opening. The original Second Avenue location opened in May 2015, serving up a kitchen menu focusing on specialty pizzas, and a bar program shaped around mason jar cocktails.

The Stillery’s owner, Steve Kovach, also owned Nashville Street Tacos, but closed that business at the beginning of September after selling its Second Avenue home. Mike’s Ice Cream, which is being forced to vacate its Broadway location due to the impending arrival of country star John Rich’s Redneck Riviera bar, will be moving into the ground floor of that Second Avenue property.
