EAST NASHVILLE – Changes in the kitchen at The Family Wash, as executive chef John Stephenson, long a local favorite due in part to his many years helming Hillsboro Village’s Fido, has decided to step down, telling Eater that he plans to spend time with family before pursuing his next venture. THE GULCH – Brandon Chavannes recently took over the executive chef position at M Street Italian restaurant Moto Cucina + Enoteca, with Luke Senderling transitioning into a supporting role as chef de cuisine. WEST END/MIDTOWN – Loews Vanderbilt Hotel has named Brandon Fortune as executive chef, overseeing all culinary aspects including Mason’s restaurant. Fortune, who most recently ran the kitchen at L'Auberge Del Mar Resort & Spa in the San Diego area, replaces Silvio Rosalen, who took the helm after opening chef Brandon Frohne’s departure.
