Another popular Nashville pizza joint is branching out to a second location, as Germantown deep dish spot 312 Pizza Company plans to open an outpost in South Nashville sometime next year.
Co-owner Staci Bockman tells Eater that the new 312 Pizza Co. will be located at 2190 Nolensville Pike in an existing commercial property currently being re-developed for retail. It will be bigger than the first, clocking in at approximately 4,000-square-feet, with more seating, a stage for live music, an outdoor patio and more televisions. The larger space will also allow them to focus more on catering, and they plan to implement a delivery program to select areas of the city. But the feel will be the same as the original, with a bar identical to the Germantown location and the same menu.
Bockman says that she and her husband Dan “decided to try to look a little beyond the areas that are hot at this immediate moment” for their next restaurant opportunity, and are hoping to fill a neighborhood need.
312 Pizza Company first opened its doors two and a half years ago, specializing in Chicago-style deep dish pizza as well as thin crust and specialty pies. It also offers a roster of sandwiches, Chicago-style hot dogs and a variety of craft brews.
