B.J. Lofback has more expansion plans for his popular Korean street food concept Funk Seoul Brother, as a second bricks-and-mortar location is now in the works for The Factory at Franklin.
Located at 230 Franklin Road, Lofback, via press release, says that the menu will be more pared down than what the food truck and Midtown outpost currently serve, instead focusing on Funk Seoul’s poke bowls, sushi-grade fish served salad-style with rice and fresh vegetables. On the slight tweek to the concept:
When we opened our Midtown location a few months ago, I knew people would come for the sushi burritos, but they came back for the poke[.] When the opportunity came to put a Funk Seoul Brother in the Factory I knew instantly it needed to be like one of the tiny poke shops popping up all over L.A. and NYC.
Lofback says that the new restaurant will open sometime in December, with hours of 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
