EAST NASHVILLE - Sad news for fans of Korean fried chicken, as The Birdhouse permanently closed its doors last weekend, stating via social media that “[w]hile we love our neighborhood and tried our hardest to make things work at this location, unfortunately and frustratingly, it wasn't to be.” Earlier in October it was announced that they would be on vacation while some construction improvements were made, but the restaurant never reopened.
