Barcelona Wine Bar Quietly Opens Its Doors in Edgehill Village

Take a first look at the menu

A Spanish tapas specialist is now in business on Music Row, as Barcelona Wine Bar opened its doors to the public last night.

Located at 1200 Villa Place in Edgehill Village next to Legato Gelato, the restaurant, which has locations in Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Connecticut and beyond, offers a varied menu (see below, subject to change) of charcuterie and cheese, tapas and larger shared plates, with Mediterranean and South American influences woven in. Executive chef Andy Hayes is overseeing the kitchen, turning out Barcelona’s staple dishes as well as adding in his own unique twists.

Barcelona’s wine and spirits director Gretchen Thomas is overseeing the restaurant’s beverage program, which offers one of the largest Spanish wine selections in the United States, with a long list of options by the glass or bottle. Cocktails and craft brews round out the full bar.

Open seven days a week, hours will most likely be a bit in flux the first few days, with the restaurant currently opening at 5 p.m. But be sure to check the restaurant’s website as permanent hours get nailed down.

So take a look at the opening menu, and if you plan on stopping by, do send over any and all first impressions.
