Spanish tapas restaurant Barcelona Wine Bar has been white-hot since opening its new Edgehill Village digs in early November. And now with nearly a month-and-a-half of dinner services under its belt, the first Sunday brunch was quietly rolled out this past weekend.
Served from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., the menu (see in full below), which like the dinner offerings will change weekly based upon product availability, borrows liberally from the dinner menu, while also offering a selection of brunch tapas and shared plates. New additions range from banana crepas and torrijas to a pork belly benedict and Georgia shrimp biscuit.
On the alcoholic beverage front, there is a list of brunch cocktails, including a hot cider toddy and a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar. And of course plenty of wines by the glass, brews and sangria.
Barcelona Wine Bar will be closed this Sunday for Christmas, but will be serving brunch on Christmas Eve day, New Year’s Eve day and New Year’s Day, as well as a special post-holiday brunch the day after Christmas.
