Initial details are now out for Austin Ray (owner of M.L. Rose Craft Beer & Burgers, The Sutler and Melrose Billiard Parlor) and Jason Brumm’s (former Radius10 chef-owner and former director of culinary operations for Strategic Hospitality) previously teased new project, as the duo plans to open Von Elrod’s Beer Garden & Sausage House in Germantown.

Located at 1004 4th Avenue North directly across from First Tennessee Park, the restaurant, as the name suggests, will focus on beer and sausage, with the Nashville Scene reporting that it will offer about 40 brews on tap and a variety of sausage, with possible selections including vegetarian sausage, an Argentinian ribeye sausage with chimichurri and andouille with crawfish.

The space, a 1950s bow truss warehouse that previously housed Trailblazer Station bus depot, will have a “true beer garden feel,” with communal tables indoors and a large patio outside.

As for an opening time frame, Ray says that he ‘hopes to swing open the doors to take advantage of as much of the Nashville Sounds’ schedule as possible.’

More details will be released in the coming months, so be sure to check back for updates.
