Plans for French Landing Brewing Co. in Midtown Hit a Dead End

It looks like plans for a new Midtown brewpub have been shelved indefinitely, as The Nashville Post reports that work on French Landing Brewing Co. is now on hold, with the building's owners still considering it for potential restaurant or bar use.

Located at 1612 Church Street next to Midtown Wine & Spirits, the project had long been in development, having first been announced over a year and a half ago. But progress had been painfully slow, hamstrung by a number of delays.

No word if the concept might live on in a different location, but for now it doesn't look likely, as the brewpub's social media pages and blog site appear to have been removed.
