Fans of ABC's Nashville certainly were excited when news first broke that actor Jonathan Jackson was partnering with General Hospital alum Steve Burton to open Jack and Jameson's Smokehouse, a restaurant, bar and music venue, in Franklin. Since then, updates on the opening haven't exactly been plentiful, but now the wait appears to be over, as a surprise opening was announced early yesterday evening.
Located in the former home of Mickey Roos, the restaurant, which is managed by owner/operator Rick Shannon, will serve barbecue, burgers and assumedly other similar fare. Twenty beers are on tap, and there will of course be live music.
Open seven days a week, hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
