The countdown to Old Glory's opening this week in Edgehill Village is on, and with that, more and more key details are being revealed, including the full opening drink and kitchen menus, which dropped on social media yesterday (head below for the full monty).
Sisters Alexis and Britt Soler and their crew are keeping the cocktail menu tight but interesting, offering drinks ranging from a Nescafe and bourbon concoction to the 'Beet Happening' made with mezcal, beets, Greek yogurt, dill, lime and agave. There is also a house shot, along with a small selection of wine and beer.
The kitchen menu is also similarly small but eclectic. Executive chef Rachel Tumerman, previously chef de cuisine at the new iteration of The Family Wash, is keeping it vegetable-heavy, in part because of the limitations created by their minimal kitchen space. Options range from an escabeche to smoked baby potatoes and house cured meat and lox boards.
