MIDTOWN - Loews Vanderbilt Hotel has named Silvio Rosalen has its new executive chef. Rosalen, who was previously the executive sous chef at sister property Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort, will oversee all of the hotel's culinary operations including southern brasserie Mason's. FRANKLIN - Two new eateries, Soulshine Pizza Factory and Whit's Frozen Custard, are coming to Franklin's Berry Farms community. Soulshine Pizza's second Nashville-area location is expected to open in July and will take up a 4,200 square-foot space with a patio. Ohio-based Whit's Frozen Custard will make its Tennessee debut with a space right across the street, with plans to open in the spring. [Tennessean]
