Restaurant owner Doug Hogrefe and his 4-Top Hospitality group are doubling down in Green Hills, with the announcement this morning that Char Restaurant, a contemporary steakhouse and piano bar, is planned for Southern Land Company's 4000 Hillsboro development.
The restaurant, which joins healthy mini-chain True Food Kitchen as the second food and beverage tenant in the property, will occupy 5,158 square feet in the ground floor of the mixed use project. Char's first location opened 16 years ago in Jackson, Miss., with a second location planned to open in Memphis this summer.
This past December Hogrefe and his team announced plans for Etch chef Deb Paquette's newest project, Etc., which will be located in the Bedford Commons development in Green Hills. 4-Top Hospitality currently owns and operates 10 restaurants in Tennessee and Mississippi, including Italian restaurant Amerigo.
